Plunge for Prevention

Positive Pathways to Prevention of Greater Portsmouth is teaming up with Chucky’s Fight to jump in the ocean at Rye Beach to raise money for substance prevention!

For those of you not familiar with Chucky, he is the founder of Chucky’s Fight (www.chuckysfight.com) and the father of two young boys that lost their lives to drug addictions. Chucky jumps in the ocean every morning (no matter the weather) as a tribute to his boys and a reminder to everyone out there fighting addiction that recovery is possible. For every dollar we raise through our “Plunge for Prevention,” Chucky’s Fight is matching a portion of the contributions!

To sponsor Positive Pathways to Prevention in this very COLD effort – checks can be made out to Portsmouth School Department (PSD is the fiscal sponsor of this effort making your contribution tax deductible) and mailed to 50 Clough Drive, Portsmouth, NH 03801, ATTN: Positive Pathways to Prevention Fund. Donations and sponsorships can be made in memory of someone or for someone struggling with addiction. Make a difference and impact on prevention in your community.

You are also welcome to join us at Wallis Sands State Park in Rye, New Hampshire on New Year’s Eve DAY at 11:00 a.m. if you are interested in helping raise money for drug and alcohol prevention.
